APMUN Secretariat is glad to inform you that due to specific request received from partner Governments and Universities, the Asia-Pacific International Model UN conference has been postponed to 20-24 September 2012.

Asia-Pacific International MUN is established as the first and unique Regional Model among all the other existing university-level MUNs in Asia. It aims to gather students from the five continents offering a higher-level atrium of confrontation and debate between culturally-diverse leaders,  with the UN building as backdrop. Why Bangkok ?

Bangkok represents an important international platform in which over 25 UN agencies, 140 NGOs, 15 IGOs, and over 80 embassies are operating. Furthermore Bangkok affirmed its strategic importance being the regional hub for the Asia-Pacific negotiation processes.
